  30. I have used just about all four of your choices. Supra is a decent modem. Their 
  31. technical support is good. Motorola modems are even better. They are a little more 
  32. expensive, but worth the extra money. I used to use the Motorola UDS FASTALK II. I have 
  33. had a lot of trouble with Hayes and USR products. Every Hayes modem we had either kept 
  34. disconnceting, wouldn't connect, would connect at a low speed, or just plain failed 
  35. completely. I have heard nightmeres from my friends about USR sportsters.

  37. I just upgraded my modem to a Multitech 28.8 ZDX. This modem performs very well, like 
  38. all Multitech modems. I have been installing Multitech modems for years and have always 
  39. had good experiences with them. They even have an "800" number technical support, which 
  40. you don't have to wait a year to talk to somebody. Their modems are USA made and use the 
  41. AT&T chipset. They come with both fax and communications software and are pretty easy to 
  42. set up. I got mine from Software Solutions for about $170.00. Their number is
